What mod prerequisites are: environment pack, ScriptHookV, SHVDN

Prerequisites are what other mods run on: the environment pack installs the framework, toolbox, game config and character framework in one go.

Prerequisites (required components) are what other mods run on. Without them, scripts never load, maps cannot be entered and characters will not spawn.

What the environment pack contains

The mod framework (ScriptHookV + SHVDN runtimes)
The ZhuLong toolbox (spawn characters, teleport, change weather)
Game config (gameconfig / packfile limits — how many mods you can carry)
Character base framework (required by character mods)

Legacy and Enhanced each have their own environment pack — do not mix them up.

The client checks it for you

Before any install, the client verifies prerequisites:

Missing → install from Mod Market → Required components
Disabled → enable it in Mod Management and retry
Needs repair → reinstall it from Mod Management

When you need to install it manually

First time using the client
After removing the environment pack, or editing the game folder by hand
After switching editions
