GTAV Mod Manager Terms of Service
1. Introduction
Welcome to GTAV Mod Manager (the "Platform"). These Terms are a legal agreement between you and the operator of the Platform ("we", "us"). Please read every clause carefully, especially those that limit or exclude our liability, restrict your rights, and govern dispute resolution and applicable law. If you do not agree with any clause, do not use the Platform. By using the Platform you confirm that you have fully read, understood and accepted all of these Terms.
2. Definitions
Platform: the GTAV Mod Manager we operate, including the website and the Windows client.
User: an individual who uses the Platform services.
MOD: a game modification — a program, file or content that modifies, enhances or extends the game.
Game: the Steam GTA V Legacy and Enhanced editions supported by the Platform.
Intellectual property: all intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, patent and trade-secret rights.
3. Platform services
We provide featured GTAV Mod listings, account sign-in and Windows client downloads. You can browse featured Mods on the website and use the Windows client to download, install, enable, disable and manage Mods.
The website only shows featured Mods configured by the operator. It is not a complete Mod marketplace and it does not perform local installations in the browser.
We may adjust, suspend or discontinue some or all of the Platform services for product maintenance, security or legal reasons.
4. Registration and account management
Registration: You can register and sign in with an email verification code or QQ authorization. You must provide true, accurate and complete information when registering or signing in.
Account security: Keep your GTAV Mod Manager account and sign-in credentials safe. Do not transfer, rent or lend your account to others. You are responsible for losses caused by your own failure to keep the account secure.
Account use: Follow applicable laws and these Terms and use your account reasonably. Do not use your account for anything illegal, improper or that infringes the lawful rights of others.
Account deletion: You may request account deletion or related actions through the contact channels published on the Platform. After deletion you will no longer be able to sign in to the Platform or the related client services with that account.
5. Intellectual property protection
Platform IP: All content of GTAV Mod Manager, including but not limited to website design, interface layout, text, images and client software, is protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, redistribute, modify, display or use it for other commercial purposes without our written permission.
Mod IP: Mod names, images, descriptions, author information and related files shown on the Platform may belong to third parties, and the relevant rights remain with their owners. Rights holders may submit complaints and proof of ownership through the contact channels published on the Platform.
Authorized use: When you download and use Mods from GTAV Mod Manager, follow the applicable license agreements and terms of use. Do not use Mods for commercial purposes or modify and redistribute them without authorization.
6. User conduct
Comply with the law: You must comply with the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China. Do not use GTAV Mod Manager for illegal or improper activities, and do not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, reputation or other lawful rights of others.
Do not disrupt the Platform: Do not use technical means to interfere with the normal operation of GTAV Mod Manager, including attacking or damaging platform systems, generating artificial traffic or sending abnormal requests.
No false claims: Do not publish false or misleading information on the Platform, and do not engage in false advertising or fraud.
Respect others: Respect the lawful rights of other users and rights holders. Do not insult, defame or harass others.
7. Platform management and supervision
We may review Mod names, images, descriptions and related files shown on the Platform, and we may refuse, remove or delete content that violates the law, these Terms or Platform rules.
We may supervise user behavior and may issue warnings, restrict use, suspend or terminate services for users who violate the law, these Terms or Platform rules.
We may adjust GTAV Mod Manager rules and policies based on operations and user needs, and will notify users through appropriate channels on the Platform. You must follow the updated rules and policies.
8. Privacy Policy
We value your privacy. See the GTAV Mod Manager Privacy Policy for details. By using the Platform you agree that we may collect, use and protect your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimer
Mods shown on GTAV Mod Manager may be created or provided by third parties. We cannot guarantee the quality, safety, stability or suitability of third-party Mods. You must judge for yourself and bear the corresponding risk when downloading and using Mods.
We do not guarantee that the Platform will be continuous, timely or error-free. If the Platform is interrupted or unavailable due to force majeure, network failures, system maintenance, third-party service issues or other causes beyond our control, we will make reasonable efforts to restore the service.
10. Dispute resolution
The formation, performance and interpretation of these Terms, and the resolution of disputes, are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. If a dispute arises over the content or performance of these Terms, both parties should first try to resolve it through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party may bring a lawsuit before a competent people's court.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms based on the operation of GTAV Mod Manager and legal requirements. Updated Terms will be published on the Platform and take effect on the date of publication. Continuing to use the Platform means you accept the updated Terms.
